“Safe Foods”
I can honestly say that completing the Master Cleanse is not easy. It’s not only physical challenge, but a mental one as well. I do liken it to detox from a drug or alcohol because the urges to eat can sometimes be just as overwhelming (and yes, I drink a lot, so I know that not having a vodka cocktail is almost as mentally difficult as not eating). But IF you absolute feel you have to have something, don’t throw the entire Cleanse out the window by going for the pizza and ice cream (two of my biggest weaknesses). You can have these foods on hand:
-Watermelon (my favorite go to)
-Tomatoes (also a favorite)
-Cucumbers
-Oranges
-Grapefruits
-Celery
-Grapes (seedless)
-Any type of fresh fruit or vegetable juice
